Welcome to Wikianswers World. What would you like to know?

Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.

The above countries are not in Central America, and, in Central America Spanish is the spoken language, with English commonly spoken throughout, especially in the tourist areas. There are a few isolated pockets of indigenous languages, sadly though most native american languages are dead. Lenca for example, the language of the largest group of natives in Honduras, had 20 separate dialects, only 2 of which survive today. Linguistically, the Lenca language belongs to the same family as Nahuatl, which was common in southern Mexico. Mayan, and Lenca, are in fact variations of Nahuatl; the reason Hernan Cortez's mistress "Dona Marina" or as they call her in Mexico "La Malinche" could understand the Aztecs, is because from southern Mexico, to Nicaragua, the languages are as close together, as various semitic tongues are. In the same way Hebrew and Arabic are close, the various branches of Nahuatl are close too, linguistically speaking, that is why she (Dona Marina) could act as Cortez's interpreter. 07:38, 7 May 2009 (UTC)stardingo747 07:38, 7 May 2009 (UTC)stardingo747
